Dolfish Album Out

PCC’s Patrick Tape Fleming helped produce Dolfish’s first full-length LP, “I’d Rather Disappear Than Stay the Same.” Whatta dude! Even better, the entire album was recorded and mixed in a basment in downtown Des Moines… in five days flat. You can grab the album (CD, LP, DL) on Afternoon Records’ website. Max recorded the album with the help from Patrick, Derek Lambert, Chris Ford, Dylan Boyle, and Dustin Harmsen–dudes that Max Sollisch had only met when he arrived in town to record the album. Now, that’s what I call teamwork.

Need further convincing? (I doubt it.) Check out this awesome review Paste magazine gave the album. Or the nod of approval from SPIN. Or KEXP. Or the wonderful words from 405. That should do it.

Check out Dolfish’s show at the Vaudeville Mews with Christopher the Conquered on November 30th.

Congrats Max!
